We are a diverse group of individuals with a common interest in building and flying radio controlled sailplanes. We enjoy flying for the fun of it and
in competitions around the country. We are branching into
E-Sailplanes at a good clip in order to expand the reach of our club.
We also offer training to anyone interested in learning to fly. We meet on Wednesday's at the flying field from May through September (weather permitting).
Contact one of the club officers to schedule training times.
In the winter we fly foamies and
small electric helicopters in a soccer dome a couple of days a week.
They are not sailplanes but it is flying.
We have a thermal duration club contest the first Sunday of every month (weather permitting).
So please feel free to come and join us for some fresh air and flying fun!
Visitors are Always Welcome!

Well
fliers, the NAT's is over and for me it is the start to the
end of summer. Although a lot of summer is left, somehow
from now on the contests are just fun and not practice for
the "Big One".
So with that in mind, make sure you come our yearly MSL
event on the 31st of August. Have fun and fly a lot in a MOM
event.
Saturday (30AU08), the MISS club will host their MSL event
at our field so we will have a nice weekend of flying.

Don't forget that we used to fly until dark so you working
stiffs can still ban together and come out after work,
second shift so to speak.
-
The "Dome" is down
for good - (*&%&(%). It was bought out by the
city because some of the residents 'did not like the looks
of it'. What a shame for us that used it all winter.
-
We have a new park manager, Rob Coffee
has retired. Hutch will be getting with the new manager soon
to set up a show-and-tell.
-
Do not forget
the monthly club meetings on the second Monday of
the month at the Oxford Municipal Building.
