Mike explains his "Lawicki"  Supra fuse for the guys

Looks like a serious discussion to me.
The flight simulator was busy all day. Jim (flying?) is one conflicted pilot - notice a Michigan sweatshirt on a guy getting a PHd from Ohio State.  I am sure he has battles with himself every football season. Dad Gerry gets all the credit for producing a great person and pilot.
Joe Schnur ready to attack Mike Jones - Not really but the camera can take some really weird photos if the timing is just right.
Jerry Graye is one of the new members and a welcome addition to the club. His always + attitude is nice to be around.
John Hoover of "Flightline" brought in a bunch of stuff to show off and made the day much more entertaining. I am probably one of the two or three guys in the club that remember John as a little kid following his dad John Sr. at the Davison Hilltoppers. John Sr. was a avid sailplane person and had several designs published in the days of Asto Jeff's and other great woodies.
Dinner was great and you can see from the faces of Barney, Ken and Steve that all is well.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all and to all - many successful flights next year -

Indoor flying at Ultimate Soccer Arena

What a wonderful place to fly in the cold and windy winter in Michigan. This place is heaven to us that normally would be shut down all winter. BTW, there are three fields indoors in this facility, this is just one of them.
Heli's are a big item for indoor flying for obvious reasons. This is a scale body on a Trex 450 mechanical set.
Dave Corven getting his 3D ready to fly. He is progressing nicely with this plane and soon will be doing magic stuff like the kids.
We even have our own RC aircraft carrier that roams the field inviting those with enough skill to do a landing on it while it is moving around.
Of course the Heli's are a "NO-Brainer" for carrier landings but the foamies do have to be really skilled or just plain lucky to make it on the first pass.
The Barnster with this orighinal 3D machine. Got to make one to fill in the gaps for when my Heli is in for repairs.
Talk about carrier landings, Rick landed his foamie right on the beam support - had to be an impossible mission.
You guys not know Richie Kruyer but his was very young when I got him into RC now he is teaching me the tricks of the trade on helis. Rich's dad and I go back a very long way - Dick is an O-gage railroad guy and has layout to die for.
More personal stuff if you don't mind. Tom on the left is my son-in-law and the two boys on the right are my grandsons Mike and Joe (Mike is flying his heli). The young man next to Tom is his nephew Erin. They came up from Ann Arbor to spend the day with Gramps.
