2009 Feburary Club Activities

Club Meeting

Looks like the subject at hand is a hit. Could be Belger's date when he was in Florida     Looks like things got serious
Some of our members do things other than model airplanes. Joe Schnur carves nuts and chips out arrowheads as an interesting hobby. The face took about 40 hours and Joe said he works removing a few thousands of material at a time.    A close-up of the face carved from from a nut.

A Day at the Ultimate Soccer Arena

Bob Bityk is the picture of concentration.

Our club members really like the winter activity at the Arena

Dennis and Rich discussing the problems of the world.
Rob Schooler getting a foamie ready to go. He will have a heli flying soon.    Dave Corven and his IFO. I was flying Hutch's today and Dave and I had a little mid-air. Dave got a prop cut in the fabric but that was the total damage.
What we all do after flying. The Arena has a good selection of food for all of us after a hard day of flying.    A shot of the kitchen area in the background. There is also a good coffee shop on the other side of the lobby and a bar upstairs.
Someone sent me a shot of my heli proving that I actually do fly it. I think John Hakala of the Skymasters took the shot.
