Foamies Galore, how did that glass fuse get in there?
The Strikers are
Ballistic with Wolf's hand wound motors
and go vertical at high speed until they are literally OOS and it does
not take long to get there.
Steve asking Vince if the F-16 has enough power at 500
watts plus.
A couple of "Electric Fellows" in deep concentration.
The ORF's in action. Note Wolf is actually flying, some
guys never learn. His plane is so high it is just a spec as the thermals
were good today.
Dennis is all set for Halloween.
Our resident exchange engineer from Germany. Alex Straub
is the maker and seller of some fantastic scale ships. He is flying his
home brew "Jonathan" which is a very nice large TD ship. Alex has been a
great addition to our club during his stay in the US.
Ken Rogus, our Prez, doing winch master duties. I think
we have a couple of the sweetest winch setups out there. Mike Wade hand
made motors and Dick Stratton's great retriever, both mechanical master
pieces.
Hutch with a once good looking Hera, anyone have any
more stickers he can use?
Ray Milio and I prepping the landing tapes for our mock
F5J contest. It went very well and we as a club learned a lot for the
real contest coming up in August (19-20). We will have one more dress
rehearsal before the real thing.
Five F5J planes launching at the sound of the buzzer.
Jim Fetterly made some CD's of the window that are going to work just
fine. We did find out that we need an amp and speakers spread around the
flight line as you could not hear our boom box at the far end of the
flight line.
Steve Martinez getting nerve up to light the fire on the
jet. John Ferguson doing the hand launch duties.
