Wolfgang Ludwig with his semi-hot-liner. This little guy
has about a 2:1 power to weight ratio and goes up like a rocket.
This is my brother-in-law "Uncle Chuck". He thought the field with all the turkeys, deer and walking trails was
really great. He had a nice day or two coming out flying with me and
meeting all the pilots. He is carving his "walking stick".
Steve Martinez and his Unlimited ship are really hard to beat.
Dan Jackman has all the photo toys you could
ask for and he really knows how to use them. Alex Straub was taking tips
and instructions so he could play with the camera. Dan, we need some of
those photos for the web site.
Barney Bauer with a nice fast climbing electric. Every
now and then Barney takes time out from flying his Blaster DHL to play
with the electrics. I can not wait to see the "Hawk" fly, it is an
accurate scale representation of a real hawk and looks outstanding.
Some Nice Shots Taken by
Alex and Dan
Check out the hooked retriever line- Nice save Dick
Joe Schnur doing his best to keep us all in good spirits. Not
sure that is coffee in the mug.
Wolfgang Ludwig and John Ferguson discussing the latest in
electric airplane technology. Wolf winds the motors and John burns them
up. Good relationship.
MUG SHOT. Dan Jackman,
Steve Martinez and "The Hutch".
Some of the planes on the ready line for the contest. It
was an add-'em-up for 26 min in four flights. Really a lot of suck air
today and a couple of rounds were 3 minutes for everyone. Weather broke
at mid round three and 8 min max'es were the order of the day.

OFB and new ORF Dave Corven back after a long bout with
the medical boys. Welcome back Dave and
good flying today, you and the Supra are looking good.
