John Ferguson and Lee Tait (of the Romeo
Club) worked a little magic and arranged for use of a soccer dome to do
a little flying a couple a days a week from 11am to 2pm. We surly owe
them a vote of thanks for this wonderful place to fly out of the cold
and win.
Barney Bauer and the Foo-fytr.
Obviously it is an original in Barney's own style.
Joe Haas and his Delta. Joe is a
stable of modeldome in the area.
Tom Laclave, Tom finds the nicest RTF
toys around and has a ball at the dome. This one flies nicely.
The "Wolfer" and a pizza plate. Darn
thing really does fly well.
Dave Corven and his Miss II or some
such variant. Nice to see Dave in retirement mode.
Your webmaster and his Edge 260.
Starting to learn how to fly it. It does mid-airs nicely.
Tom with another little RTF
Hutch "The Sticker Man". He really
turns left well.
I get to play with Hutch's Blade CX in
prep for my Trex that is coming soon.
Our Prez, Kenny, concentrating on
hitting the Dome walls.
First nice
day for flying for the year brought out a few of the ORF's to catch some
of the great thermals that day.
Ken and I showing off our new
"One-Design" Multiplex "Easy Glider's". With about 20 of these in the
club, color schemes are important when in a gaggle.
Barney and Dennis discussing the great
day.
Wolf doing a little work to improve
the visibility of his wing. The extra drag was too much but it still
looked cool.
Mike Holmes getting some pointers for
his new Electron II. It is a great plane and goes up on a gopher belch.
Barney showing that DHL is all about
form.
Mike's new "Big Bird" flew
fantastic right off the bench. Dennis has had his "Little Bird" for
awhile and loves it.
