The flyers for the day, it was cool as you can tell from the jackets and
the wind was blowing strongly early on but kind of calmed down to about
12-15 by about one o'clock.
Some of the arrows ready to shot into the air with the mighty Wade
Winch. It was a heavy metal day but most flew ballast free for some
reason.
The Marcicki Twins heading out the winch. Jim has one year to go
at U of M to get his engineering degree, then he gets to hit dad up for
the fees to get his masters. Sharp young man and good stick to boot.
Not sure if it is lunch or the day is done but in any case, the troops
are relaxed.
Day is done and the planes go back to the hanger to await another
battle.
This is Hutch's beer cooler done up as a duck but he decided to call it
the "Quacker" because it is not quite a "DUCK".
The proud Papa of the "Quacker". Like all EZG's it fly's quite well and
thinks it is a much bigger plane than it really is. We had some really
nice "Barbie Like" stickers for the plane but Hutch was embarrassed to
put them on.
Dick Stratton with his 100 inch "Duck" that was totally created by Dick
who falls into the "builder" category. His workmanship is flawless. The
plane fly's very well and should make Dick very proud.
Are these real ORF's or Larry, Curly and Mo heading to the winch? Hutch
directs the op while Dick and Ken implement.
