This Postal Contest was held between three clubs the Las Vegas club, the TOSS club in California and of course our own GDS&HS. Turnout here was great and we all had a blast playing on probably the last nice flying day of the year.

I am not kidding as the weather came in on Monday and it was windy and chilly but Tuesday we had snow, 30+ mph winds and mid 30's for the high ---- YUCK!!!!!!!!!

Some of the 11 entries in the EZG Postal Contest. The others had put their planes away.
The Marcicki's searching for lift. Jim and Gerry are one of the few father/son teams around and they really seem to enjoy their time together.
"King of the Hill" Hutch. The only pilot to pull out a perfect 15 from our club. He came in 5th overall in the three club challenge.
John White (our club Treasurer) is kind of new at this game but he is coming along nicely. I think this was his first contest ever and he handled it like the gentleman that he is.
Some of the arrows (blunt ones at that) ready to be winch launched into the spotty lift that we had today.
The "King Hutch"  ready to launch his "Quacker" as he named this particular EZG.
This goes to show you what happens when you do not know which end is up. Dave Corven has a questionable holding device for his plane. Or, is this a new style of catching your plane?
Not sure who is launching but this is the Las Vegas clubs flying field. No wonder they fly foam planes as landing on all the dirt and rocks must be hard on plane bottoms.
The Las Vegas club combatants.
November Club Contest

The contest was held on 04NO07 along with the Postal contest shown above so the photo's are a mix of the postal and club contests. It was one of our normal contests and you can read the report by clicking on the link below.
