We are still in the
throws of winter and the February Blues but at least I am getting a lot
of things done that I normally would pass off in the summer due to lack
of time.
The club is kind of
busy planning the years flying calendar and trying to fit 10 pounds in
that 5 pound bag. We have decided on a Postal Contest and an F5J contest
in May to start the season and it seems one could be flying from May
through the end of October without a break if you so desired.
Make sure you click on
the two contest schedule pages in the "Navigation Bar" to see what I
mean.

Kind of looks like we need some dancing girls to wake
this group of old guys up. |

One of those little projects I have been making time for- it is a servo
tester and is working well as far as it goes. Engineering changes coming
up soon to make it easier to use and provide more torture for the
servos. |

Wolf's collection of stuff for the meeting. The new Multiplex Twister
Jet is just awesome for a foamie. Should be a lot of fun this summer
watching Wolf get it from 100mph design to a 200 mph ballistic missile. |

Bring in the girls, we are loosing the crowd. |

This is what happens when you get dumb thumbs. Broke my Extra 330
(Ferguson special) in two. A little foam and CA and it was flying at the
next session in fine order. Foamies are great, you can push your limits
without fear of loosing a lot of money. |

This is what happens when you get dumb thumbs. Broke the Trex 450 but
this is not so inexpensive. Will take several hours to rebuild and a
bunch of new parts. The good news is all the metal parts I put on to
replace the plastic ones are still in one piece. |

Fellow Heli pilot, Rob Hair, offering his condolences. |

John and Wolf are there every day they can and both are very helpful to
all of us; giving gentlemen both. |

Sorry for the picture quality but you know
