Welcome to our Home Page

We are a diverse group of individuals with a common interest in building and flying radio controlled sailplanes. We enjoy flying for the fun of it and in competitions around the country.  We are branching into E-Sailplanes at a good clip in order to expand the reach of our club.

We also offer training to anyone interested in learning to fly. We meet on Wednesday's at the flying field from May through September (weather permitting). Contact one of the club officers to schedule training times.

In the winter we fly foamies and small electric helicopters in a soccer dome a couple of days a week. They are not sailplanes but it is flying.

We have a thermal duration club contest the first Sunday of every month (weather permitting).

So please feel free to come and join us for some fresh air and flying fun!

Visitors are Always Welcome!

Upcoming!!

We now have a new indoor site for the winter!!!!

Joe Hass (bless you dude) has acquired a new site for us this winter and it is bigger and better than the old "really good site" in Sterling Heights.

This one is the:

Ultimate Soccer Arena

867 South Blvd. in Pontiac

Look it up on Google Maps, hit the satellite view and be amazed at the size.

The cost is $25.00 for five visits, only $5.00 per two hour session. The cost of one good coffee, so how can you beat that.

From what I hear each secession is 2 hours on Tues  from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.

The start date is 11NO08 so be there for the fun and games.
